This treatment is anti-ageing and the easiest way to lessen the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
It is not a permanent treatment.
It is an effective medical treatment to reduce tension headaches by relaxing the forehead muscles.
Lift drooping eyelids, this is known as a brow lift to create a more youthful appearance.

Aftercare

After your treatment, it is important to remain upright for 3 hours. Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area immediately to reduce the risk of infection.
Refrain from taking hot showers for 24 hours and engaging in intense exercise for 48 hours. Similarly, avoid using facial masks for 48 hours and consuming alcohol for 24 hours.
Gentle cleansing of the face is recommended. Our practitioner will demonstrate facial exercises that should be performed immediately after the treatment. Additionally, avoid hot tubs and saunas for 2 weeks to ensure optimal results and healing.

Treatment Risks

Mild pain, swelling and bruising reactions can occur at the injection site.
Results vary and are dependant on the individual. Lifestyle Factors including exercise, sun exposure, smoking and also age, genetics, medical hx are other factors than can impact the effectiveness of this treatment.
On the very rare occasion an individual can develop a resistance to Botulinum Toxin Type A due to building up anti bodies against the treatment or they happen to metabolise the treatment very quickly.

Why is it not permanent?

Your body is making new neurotransmitters all the time. Anti wrinkle treatment temporality blocks the production of acetylcholine, released from neurotransmitters for muscle contraction. Over time this action wears off and more acetylcholine is released and signals to the muscles to start contracting. Meaning lines and wrinkles on expression begin to appear.
What if I find it cheaper?

Everyone is different as to how long this treatment lasts. Anywhere between 3-6 months.

This is a progressive treatment that begins to work gradually over a 2 week period, at the end of the 2 weeks full results will be visible.
Is this a painful treatment?

This is an almost pain free procedure, using very small and fine needles gently to stop any discomfort. The treatment is also very quick, only taking 10-15 minutes. You could easily have it done on your lunch break as there is no downtime!
Is Anti-Wrinkle treatment safe for me?

An in-depth medical history is completed during the consultation process to determine if each person is suitable for treatment. Individuals who are not suitable for any Anti-Wrinkle treatments include if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, allergic to any of the ingredients in the product or living with a neuromuscular disorder.
