Aftercare

After your Sculptra® treatment, it is important to follow the recommended aftercare for optimal results. Massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days to ensure even distribution and prevent lump formation. Avoid touching or rubbing the area outside of this massage routine to minimise the risk of infection.

Refrain from hot showers for 24 hours and avoid intense exercise for 48 hours. It’s also best to avoid alcohol for 24 hours and facial treatments, including masks, for 48 hours. Stay well-hydrated, as this supports collagen production and enhances your results. Additionally, avoid saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs for two weeks to allow the treatment to settle properly. Your practitioner will provide personalised aftercare advice to ensure the best outcome.

Results appear gradually over weeks, requiring patience for full effects.
Rarely, small lumps or uneven texture can occur without proper post-treatment massage.
