Aftercare

Avoid touching or rubbing the area immediately after treatment. Refrain from taking hot showers or engaging in intense exercise for 24 hours. Gently cleanse the face without harshly rubbing the treated area. Avoid electrolysis, depilatory creams, waxing, and laser hair removal for at least 2 weeks after treatment. Additionally, avoid intense sunlight, saunas, sunbeds, and steam baths for the same duration. Please report any concerns to your practitioner.

Treatment Risks

May experiencing mild itching, bruising or swelling after treatment and this can last up to 7 days.
May experience redness and mild pain for first 48 hours after treatment. I’m rare cases inflammatory tissue reactions.

Ellansé is a minimally invasive treatment, meaning minimal pain is experienced during treatment. A numbing agent is also applied to help our clients feel comfortable during treatment.
How much will I need?

This will vary depending on the individual. Most will need a lot less than regular dermal filler. Ellansé works best when small amounts are placed in multiple areas of the face.
How often do you need treatment?

Results last up to two years.
Where can I not have Ellansé?

Ellansé is not suitable for lips or under eyes, although very effective on perioral lines (lipstick lines).
How long do the results last?

Results last up to two years.
How soon will I see the results?

You will see maximum volume, contouring, and sculpting immediately after treatment, and natural collagen production will take place over several months after treatment. This means results continue to improve over time, unlike other treatments which reduce over time.
